In the history of exchanges between Islamicate and Sanskrit astral sciences, Nityānanda's Siddhāntasindhu (c. early 1630s), composed at court Mughal emperor Shāh Jahān (r. 1628─58), is among earliest examples a Persian astronomical text translated into Sanskrit. an earlier study, Misra (2021) described sociohistorical context in which Nityānanda Mullā Farīd's Zīj-i Jahānī 1629/30) Sanskrit, other things, provided parallel comparative editions, with English translations, describing computation true declination celestial object. While Misra's paper focused on linguistic aspects translation process, present studies mathematics three methods computing vis-à-vis recension his translations from germinal to chef d'œuvre, Sarvasiddhāntarāja (1638). The begins by discussing transformation Part II.6 spaṣṭakrāntyadhikāra 'topic declination' gaṇitādhyāya 'chapter computations' (henceforth identified as I.spa·krā) Sarvasiddhāntarāja. metrical verses I.spa·krā are edited for very first time.
